The York County Federation of Democratic Women’s next meeting will feature civil-rights advocate Anne Gray as the guest speaker, 12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 25, at Meadow Hill Restaurant, 2935 East Prospect Road.

Gray will talk about the history of the Goodridge family in 1800s York, as well as women's suffrage, the Visiting Nurses Association and other efforts to improve women's' health care in the 19th century.

Gray helps run the William C. Goodridge Freedom Center and Underground Railroad Museum as a volunteer for the Crispus Attucks Association of York.

The public is invited. For those who want to dine, lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m.
