Susquehanna University: Michael Doran, of York, was recently published in Essay, a campus literary magazine.

University of Findlay: Neil Nicholson, of Felton, is a recipient of the Margaret and Paul Palmer Scholarship.


PA Department of Education: York Suburban Middle School was one of 30 schools to receive grants of up to $1,000 to implement farm-to-school activities. The program provides students with access to fresh, healthy, locally sourced food.

Northern Middle School: Staff and students raised $1,808.61 for the American Heart Association through the school's Dodge for Heart fundraiser.


Air Force: Airman Darren M. Snowden, of Hanover, graduated from basic military training, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
