Donations are tax deductible
Goodwill stores and donation centers will be open until 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, to accept donations of good quality clothing and household goods to be claimed as tax deductions.
Receipts will be provided to meet IRS guidelines for donations.
Goodwill can’t accept air conditioners; recalled items; dehumidifiers; hazardous and household chemicals; infant furniture such as cribs, highchairs, car seats, strollers, etc.; kerosene heaters; large appliances; large exercise equipment; lawn mowers; mattresses; small engines; tires; TVs; and weapons.
