‘Polar Express’ storytelling


Local storytellers Beth Rebert and Fred Soulier will tell the classic tale of “The Polar Express” at several libraries in December.

Local storytellers will tell the story of "The Polar Express" at York County libraries beginning Tuesday.

Children ages 3-12 are invited to wear pajamas and bathrobes to the family friendly event.

Admission is free.

The schedule is:

  • Kaltreider-Benfer Library, 147 S. Charles St., Red Lion), 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, at the Red Lion Community Center (behind the library).
  • Dover Area Community Library, 3700 Davidsburg Road, 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, in the Dover Community Room next to the library. Cookies and hot chocolate will be served.
  • Dillsburg Area Public Library, 204 Mumper Lane, 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21. All ages are welcome. Cookies and milk will be served and the Dillsburg Brass will perform carols.
  • The Village Library, 35-C N. Main St., Jacobus, 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28.
