-- Reinsel Kuntz Lesher LLP, Certified Public Accountants & Consultants, has announced the acquisition of Radnor, Pennsylvania-based GTM Risk Management, which will operate under the new name RKL Risk Management LLC. The transaction was effective Oct. 1.
-- Attorney Lawrence V. Young, a shareholder at CGA Law Firm and chair of its bankruptcy department, has been appointed to serve on the Merit Selection Committee to fill the impending bankruptcy judge vacancy in the Middle District of Pennsylvania seated in Harrisburg.
-- Snow Time Inc., the parent company of Roundtop Mountain, Liberty Mountain and Whitetail ski resorts, has announced its new appointments: Matthew Thomas has been named general manager of Roundtop Mountain Resort; Chrisanne Bowden has been named corporate director of human resources at Snow Time; and Eric Flynn, has been named vice president and chief operating officer at Snow Time.
-- The Rose Group, a leading franchisee of Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar and Corner Bakery Cafe restaurants, won awards at the 2016 Applebee’s Global Franchise Conference. The year-long competition recognizes key business accomplishments as well as support for community charities and causes. Harry Rose, group chairman, received the Abe Gustin Franchisee of the Year Award for the second year in a row, and for the fifth time total. Bonnie Lippincott, COO of the group, received the Operator of the Year Award for the second year in a row and third overall. The Rose Group also achieved the highest scores in guest satisfaction and retention.
-- Chad Eckert, CEO at Myofit Performance Center and Myofit Activewear, recently completed 60 hours of continuing education credits to obtain re-certification as an exercise physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine.
-- The York Symphony Orchestra has announced that, Lawrence Golan, its music director and conductor, has signed a contract extension for five more years.
-- The York County Community Foundation recently inducted two new members into its Professional Advisor Recognition Society during an event at The Yorktowne Hotel. They are Stephen H. Klunk, principal at Stambaugh-Ness P.C., and Charles J. Long, Esq., partner at Smith Anderson Baker & Long, Attorneys.

-- The York Symphony Orchestra recently welcomed four new members to its board of directors: Dr. Vincent Butera, a retired orthopedic surgeon and partner with OSS Health; Larry J. Miller, executive chairman of PeoplesBank; Carolyn Mosser, a former emergency department nurse; and Michelle Shipley, a former employee from the medical records department at Rehab Hospital.
-- Mike Granby, of York, president of Red Lion Controls, was recently named to the board of directors of The Manufacturers’ Association.
