Boy Scouts’ Jamboree-on-the-Air

The Boy Scouts of America and the Keystone VHF Radio Club will host the 59th annual Jamboree-on-the-Air/Internet, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at the club, 3650 Deininger Road. Cub, Boy and Girl scouts are invited to share ideas with their peers around the world using two-way amateur radio and satellite links as well as the internet. Youth can also participate in a radio beacon fox hunt. The public is also invited to the international event. A York County emergency communication command truck will be on display.
