The York County Department of Parks and Recreation will host its flintknapping program, 2:30-4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, at Nixon County Park.

Kirk Drier, of Baltimore County Parks, will demonstrate how ancient stone tools were manufactured. There will also be stone axes, throwing sticks, a bow and arrow, a blow gun and the atlatl.

Admission is free and children younger than 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
