The York County Area Agency on Aging has added opportunities for eligible seniors to pick up fruit and vegetable vouchers.

Seniors who did not already receive the $20 vouchers can pick them up at:

  • Brown’s Orchards & Farm Market pavilion, 8892 Susquehanna Trail South, Springfield Township, 9:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23.
  • Windy Hill on the Campus senior center, 1472 Roth’s Church Road, Suite 103, Jackson Township, 9:30-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7.
  • White Rose Senior Center, 27 S. Broad St., York City, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8.
  • Red Lion Area Senior Center, 20-C Gotham Place, York Township, 9:30-11:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 12.

To qualify, York County residents must be 60 or older and have a 2016 total gross annual household income at or below $21,978 for a single person or $29,637 for a couple.

Proof of age and residency must be shown to obtain vouchers. Proxy forms for those picking up vouchers for others are available at www.ycaaa.org.

Residents of nursing homes, personal care facilities or any residential settings that offer meals are ineligible to receive the vouchers.
