Chickies Rock hike and discussion

The Department of Parks and Recreation for York and Lancaster counties will team up for a Rocks and River hike, 10 a.m.-noon Friday, July 8, at Chickies Rock County Park.

The one-mile hike and discussion will begin at the Breezyview Overlook, just off Route 441, north of Columbia, Lancaster County. Participants will walk down a steep hill to the Susquehanna Heritage Trail.

Participants will be van-pooled back to Breezyview Overlook at the end of the program, which is recommended for adults and children ages 8 and older.
