APPOINTMENT
York College has appointed Laura Niesen de Abruna its first provost and dean of academic affairs, effective July 1. She previously served as provost and vice president for academic affairs at Sacred Heart University, Fairfield, Conn.

Weis Markets, a sponsor of the Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful Great American Cleanup of PA, has announced the winners of its donated gift cards are Keep York Beautiful, Red Lion Borough and Delta Spring Cleanup. The cards will be used for clean-up and beautification efforts.
