Pennsylvania Department of Veterans of Foreign Wars: C. Steven Lyle, of Wrightsville, an EMT and executive director of the Emergency Health Services Federation, was named the Emergency Medical Technician of the Year at the organization’s annual public safety awards program.

SpiriTrust Lutheran: Representatives of the York County Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program prepared 3,741 free federal, state and local income tax returns for taxpayers whose household income was $54,000 or less in 2015. Also, its online filing option served more than 300 taxpayers whose household income was $62,000 or less.
