3 events at senior center
The Stewartstown Senior Center, 26 S. Main St., has announced three public events in June.
First, a representative from the York County Area Agency on Aging will distribute fruit and vegetable vouchers from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 3.
The vouchers, offered by the Department of Agriculture to those who qualify, are worth $20 each for local fruits or vegetables.
Bring proof of income and identification.
Then, orders will be accepted until Wednesday, June 15, for fresh-made sandwiches.
Order choices are pretzel ham or turkey with American or Swiss cheeses.
The sandwiches will be made fresh on Wednesday, June 29, and will be ready for pickup by 10 a.m.
The cost is $4.25 each.
The third event is a public breakfast, 7-9:30 a.m. Thursday, June 16.
The menu will feature pancakes, chipped beef, home fries, scrambled eggs, toast, juice, coffee and tea.
The cost is $7.
