The American Red Cross has announced its York County blood drives in early June.

Busy schedules over the holidays led to a sharp drop in donations of blood and platelets, according to the American Red Cross.

Wednesdays: Greater Hanover Donation Site, 529 Carlisle St., 1-6:30 p.m.

June 1: Westfalia Technologies, 3655 Sandhurst Drive, 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

June 3: Saubels, 8 Ballast Lane, Stewartstown, 1-5 p.m.

June 6: Rescue Fire Co., 50 S. School Place, Dallastown, 1:30-7 p.m.; Hellam Fire Co., 163 E. Market St., 2 p.m.-7 p.m.; Stewartstown Baptist Church, 18631 Five Forks Road, 2:30-8 p.m.; and York County Red Cross, 724 S. George St., 1-6:30 p.m.

June 7: Hanover First Church of God, 600 Fairview Drive, 2-7:30 p.m.

June 8: First Baptist Church, 3375 Druck Valley Road, 2-7 p.m.

June 9: Heritage Hills Golf Resort, 2700 Mount Rose Ave., 1:30-7:30 p.m., and Sweet Frog, 2071 Springwood Road, 2-6:30 p.m.
