The York County Community Foundation will host Aging in Place, 9-11:30 a.m. and 5-7:30 p.m. Monday, May 16, at The Windows Ballroom, Heritage Hills Golf Resort, 2700 Mount Rose Ave.
A learning session, Learn How to Live Longer and Stronger in the Place You Call Home, will be provided for older adults and adult children/caregivers. It will provide information on how to plan for aging in York County and the resources available for assistance.
Speakers will be Matthew Gallardo, of Messiah Lifeways; Dory Brannon, York County Planning Commission housing chief; and Sandy Mundis, of Comfort Keepers.
The event is sponsored by the foundation’s Hahn Home Fund for Embracing Aging and the York Housing Advisory Commission’s Education & Outreach Committee.
Light refreshments will be served.
