West York Bark and Honey's Raid will co-host Honeyfest, an adoption and bully breed awareness event, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, May 14, at Shelly Park, 200 N. Highland Ave.

The event is designed to raise awareness of the dogfighting problem in the area. It will feature food, raffles, music, vendors and adoptable dogs.

The guest of honor will be Honey, a former bait dog found in York City nearly four years ago.
