Walking tour for kids

Downtown Inc has announced its new series, Kids Downtown Walking Tours, will kickoff in Cherry Lane Park with a Kids Downtown Maker tour, 1-4 p.m. Saturday, May 14.

The tour will feature stops at four downtown merchants specializing in activities and programming for the youngest members of the community: York City Pretzel Co., YorKitchen in Central Market, Creative York and Sunrise Soap Co.

At each stop, children ages 4-9 will make a one-of-a-kind item to play with, take home or eat including a personal pizza at YorKitchen and bath fizzies at Sunrise Soap. Merchants and organizations were chosen to highlight children’s programing they currently have in place.

Tickets are $20 for children and free for parents.
