The York County Department of Parks and Recreation will host its Froggy First Friday series, 7-9 pm. May 6, June 3, July 1 and Aug. 5 in Spring Valley County Park from the Cross Roads parking area, Blymire Hollow and Line roads.

Naturalist Kelsey Frey, the York County Amphibian and Reptile Survey coordinator, will lead the search for great amphibian and reptile habitat, discuss what species you may see and practice ethical herping techniques.

Dress in long pants, long sleeves and boots for walking off the trails and bring a flashlight.

The program is appropriate for ages 8 and up.
