The York Jewish Community Center, 2000 Hollywood Drive, is inviting the community to take a look at diversity through a genealogy lens, 10:30-11:45 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, and 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 27.

Participants will hear the story of Myra "Neicy" DeShields-Moulton, a genealogist from Springettsbury Township who has been tracing her multicultural ancestors for 17 years. She will share her journey of self-discovery, including the methods she used to discover her roots and how she learned about African-American history in the process.

Registration is required. Admission is $5 per person.
