The Southern York County School District Board of Education appointed Susan M. Green, CPA, its chief financial and operations officer effective July 1. She will replace Wayne McCullough, who will retire at the end of school year. Green has served as the district's business manager for nine years.


PeoplesBank was honored recently at the second annual Innovation in Financial Education awards ceremony presented by NASDAQ and EverFi. The award recognizes the bank’s national efforts to improve financial literacy and money-management skills through digital learning initiatives.


Mary Ellen Thomson, of York, has been named a financial advisor in the brokerage department at Fulton Financial Advisors.


House of Hope York, PA has announced that Dara Lindo has been named its board secretary. Lindo works in network security at The Bon-Ton Stores Inc.


Stacey L. Wilhide, of Spring Grove, was promoted to assistant branch manager at Fulton Bank’s Hanover Branch. Wilhide previously served as head teller.

McConkey Insurance & Benefits has announced the promotion of Amanda J. Sides to senior client service agent. Sides, who joined McConkey in 2004, most recently served as a supervisor.
