The York Audubon Society will celebrate its 38th anniversary with a presentation by Dave Brinker, regional ecologist for the Maryland DNR, 5 p.m. Saturday, April 16, at the East Berlin Area Community Center, 407 North St.

Brinker has an extensive background in ornithology. He is the cofounder of Project SNOWstorm, which began with the irruption of snowy owls in 2013-14.

There will also be a family style banquet featuring baked chicken and ham, scalloped potatoes, candied carrots, green beans, cranberry sauce, coffee and tea, rolls and butter, and homemade pies with ice cream; table prizes; a raffle; and a silent auction.

Admission is $20 per person.
