OLP Events will present the second annual Veterans’ Expo & Job Fair, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, at the York Expo Center, 334 Carlisle Ave.

The free event is open to veterans of any age, active military and military families.

The expo will connect active and retired military members and their families with the benefits and resources available to them through local community-service providers, healthcare professionals, VA benefits counselors, VFWs and American Legions. Exhibitors will also include a broad range of businesses.

The 9 a.m. opening ceremony will include the Presenting of Colors by the Korean War Veterans Color Guard. Phil Palandro, director of York County Veterans Affairs, and Susan Byrnes, York County commissioner, will serve as guest speakers.

The job fair will feature employers from a large range of industries and a resource center. Photographer Steven Francis will take free, professional headshots for use in social media profiles.
