The York County Parks and Recreation Department will host a crisp, mid-holiday “marshmallow” hike, 1-3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, and 9:30-11:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, at Rocky Ridge County Park.

Hikers should meet at the pheasant pavilion, Hidden Laurel Picnic Area.

Participants will join a naturalist to search the winter woods for signs of woodland creatures, then warm-up inside the enclosed pavilion with hot chocolate and a fire.

Admission is free, but registration is requested at 428-1961.
