Wildcats, Bulldogs, Colonials earn boys' tennis wins


Dallastown, West York and New Oxford picked up boys’ tennis wins on Wednesday.

Dallastown beat Northeastern, 5-0; West York topped Bermudian Springs, 4-1; and New Oxford edged Central York, 3-2.

Dallastown's Hunter Jones picked up a singles win Wednesday vs. Northeastern.

At Dallastown, the Wildcats received straight-set singles victories from Hunter Jones, Jonathan Burns and Nich Istvonic. In doubles, Tyler Lilie and Logan Maddox won the No. 1 match, while Sebastian May and Vincent Villani won the No. 2 match.

At West York, the Bulldogs received singles victories from Nick Wool and Augustine Citrone. Teammates Noah Anderson and Jack Citrone won the No. 1 doubles match, while Aaron Stover and Jacob Landis captured the No. 2 doubles match.

At Central the Colonials received singles victories from Justin Gruver and Silas Mackey. In doubles, Kyle Leatherman and Joe Martin captured the No. 1 match. For the Panthers, Omkar Kane won a singles match, while Bryan Stanley and Camerron Hughes won the No. 2 doubles match in three sets.
