Celebrate the mayfly with the Lower Susquehanna Riverkeeper Association's Second Annual Mayfly Festival, Saturday, June 30, in the parking lot at the John Wright Restaurant in Wrightsville. Learn about all things scaly and cool during Reptile Week at Nixon County Park, Saturday, June 30, through Sunday, July 8. The week includes live reptile shows, a chance to get into the stream at the park and plenty of crafts, information stations and more. Cost: $3 per person, ages 5 and under free, park members free. Inspire Jazz Quartet will perform Saturday at DreamWrights Center for Community Arts.

DreamWrights Center for Community Arts hosts The Great Gatsby, an evening of jazz, dance and scat, 7-10 p.m. Saturday, June 30, at the theater, 100 Carlisle Ave. Inspire Jazz Quartet will play songs ranging from swing to funk, and guests are encouraged to dress for the jazz age with costumes from the '20s or '40s. Springettsbury Township's free Sounds of Summer Concert Series offers concerts each Sunday and Wednesday through Aug. 5 in the amphitheater at the township park, 1501 Mount Zion Road. Food trucks will be on site with a variety of foods and drinks. On Sunday, July 1, the Central City Orchestra will have people dancing, followed by a fireworks display.
