Follow the sound of children’s laughter to York City’s 2018 summer movie series at Kiwanis Lake.

Movies start at dusk, typically 8:30 p.m., on Wednesdays from June 20 through Aug. 15 in the park at North Newberry Street and Parkway Boulevard.

Free light refreshments will be offered before the movie begins. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and their own snacks. Restrooms in Farquhar Park will be open.

In the event of rain, the screening will be moved to Thursday that week. For more information, call 717-854-1587.

The summer series lineup is:

Wednesday, June 20: “Lego Batman”

June 27: “Paddington”

July 4: No movie shown on the holiday.

July 11: “A Wrinkle in Time”

July 18: “Black Panther”

July 25: “Moana”

Aug. 1: “Wonder Woman”

Aug. 8: “Zootopia”

Aug. 15: “Coco”
