The second annual Big Swing Thing comes to the Valencia Ballroom Friday through Sunday. The event, presented by Unforgettable Big Band, brings in eight live bands, 12 dance instructors and multiple dance performance troupes offering performances and classes throughout the weekend. Learn about the day and night sky at A Day of Astronomy, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. and 8-10 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at the John Rudy County Park Observatory. The York County Astronomical Society will have radio telescope demonstrations and solar observations during the day, followed by a tour of the night sky in the evening. Free, donations accepted.
