Oscar shorts coming to the Capitol in York
Oscar-nominated short films will be shown Feb. 17 and 18 at the Capitol Theatre, 50 N. George St.
This is the 13th year that the nominees for short form films have been screened at theaters around the country, according to the Appell Center for the Performing Arts.

The nominees for Live Action Short Film will be screened at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17.
Nominees for Best Short Film (Animated) will be shown at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17.
Nominees for Documentary (Short Subject) will be screened at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18.
Tickets are $10 for one screening or $15 for two or more. Information: appellcenter.org.
