Who hasn't wanted to hit a golf ball in a library? Guthrie Memorial Library, 2 Library Place in Hanover, invites everyone to do just that, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24. Mini Golf at the Library will wind from the children's department through the teen and adult sections and end in the Bare Center for a 19th hole with face painting, raffles and mini bowling. The biggest light show in York County begins Nov. 24 as Christmas Magic: A Festival of Lights opens at Rocky Ridge County park. The annual extravaganza features a half-mile trail decked out with lights, animations, trains, entertainment and food, along with stops at enclosed, heated buildings. Times: 6-9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 5-9 p.m. Friday through Sunday, Nov. 24-Dec. 31, closed Dec. 24 and 25. Admission: $10 adults, $5 children 4-12, under 4 free, seniors 60+ $9. Check out the magic of the elaborate model train layout at the Miniature Railroad Club of York's Annual Holiday Open House, open Nov. 25-Jan. 14. The 2,400-square-foot layout takes freight and passenger trains over 1,200 feet of track through scenes from around Pennsylvania during the 1960s and '70s. Hours: 1-5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
