Whether they’re looking for the real, hard-boiled kind or the plastic kind filled with toys or candy, there are plenty of places where York County children can hone their Easter egg hunting skills this year. Here’s a list:

Pleasureville UMC, 2606 N. Sherman St.: Egg hunt for 1-year-olds to fifth-graders with kids crafts and a coffee break for parents, 10-11:30 a.m. Saturday. Information: 717-757-3217 or pleasurevilleumc@outlook.com.

York City: 42nd annual egg hunt for children ages 1-8 with arts and crafts, games and free hot dogs, 1 p.m. Saturday at Kiwanis Lake. Rain date: Sunday.

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2121 Roosevelt Ave.: Easter story, crafts, refreshments and egg hunt for children ages 10 and younger, 1 p.m. Saturday. Held rain or shine. Bring your own basket. Information: 717-764-4746 or gs_york@verizon.net.
