What's happening in York this weekend
The York Fair continues through Sunday, with comedian Jeff Dunham headling at the grandstand Friday night and country legends Alabama Saturday. Gates open at the fair at 11 a.m. daily. Step into a festival of small town life at New Freedom Fest, starting at 10 a.m. Saturday on Front Street and Railroad Avenue in the borough. The free festival features three stages with live music, family and children's entertainment and dance all day, with the headliners The Honey Dewdrops performing at 4 p.m. Activities include a pet parade, Steam Into History rides, Civil War authors, dunking booths, a pie-eating contest and more.
