This month's First Friday in York rounds off Boutique Week with Fashion Friday and events 5-9 p.m. throughout the downtown York area. Some highlights:

At Creative York, 10 N. Beaver St., create your own funky hat, 5-8 p.m. Also, the upstairs classroom and downstairs pottery studio will display artwork for Arts Discovery summer campers and the YWCA Creative Explorer STEAM Camps.

On Beaver Street, visit the York City Derby Dames, Market Haberdashery, Not One More PA and York YWCA.

In Royal Square, visit the ultimate outdoor man cave in the parking lot next to DiDi & Smiling John's Barber Shop and Salon with WWE wrestler Big Gene Snitsky, King Brat Gourmet Hotdogs, Potato Coop and Mad Dash Concessions.

Royal Square will also feature vintage cars from Guerrieri Motors and artisanal cotton candy from Fool's Cotton Candy.

HIVE artspace, 126 E. King St., holds its opening reception for Tall Tales, Myths and Legends. Show off your best Bigfoot strut for a free pin featuring art from the exhibit while they last.

Free showing of "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" pays tribute to Gene Wilder, 7 p.m. at the Capitol Theatre, 50 N. George St.

Plus beer tastings at businesses throughout the Market District, Royal Square and WeCo.
