The Dover Youth Shakespeare Academy presents "Romeo and Juliet," 6:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday at OrangeMite Studios, 2035 Tall Fir Drive. Jesse Rothaker will bring reptiles from Forgotten Friend to the Library Olympic Fest on Saturday.

Get out with the York County Libraries for Library Olympic Fest, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at Codorus State Park. The event includes Jesse Rothacker and Forgotten Friends Reptiles, Cookie Mouse, One you mark, get set, DANCE Camp performance, crafts, activities, storytelling and more. Celebrate the Irish at the 16th Annual Adams County Irish Festival, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday at Moose Park, 100 Moose Road in Gettysburg. The festival features Irish music, merchandise, crafts, food and beverages, including instruments, tartan scarves and Irish Garda items. There will also be Civil War living history encampment, a whiskey display and the gentle giants of the Irish Wolfhound Club, Admission: $10, children 12 and under free. The Wallace-Cross Mill is the stage for a bluegrass jam session by the old mill stream, 1-4:30 p.m. Sunday. The mill will have an open house, with guides explaining the history of the site. York Art Association artists show their take on the theme Life Forms at a new exhibit. The exhibit opens with a reception, 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the association. 220 S. Marshall St., and will be open through Aug. 20 during regular gallery hours, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m.-noon Saturday. Information: www.yorkartassociation.org/

Cavern Club will perform Sunday at New Cumberland First Church of God.

The Cavern Club will bring Beatles-style music to New Cumberland for a free event on Sunday. The concert starts at 5 p.m. at New Cumberland First Church of God, 323 Reno Ave. The concert includes free hot dogs, popcorn and drinks. Information: 774-2112.

Octagon jazz octet headlines Sunday's concert for the Springettsbury Township Sounds of Summer concert series. The group covers a range of music in a West Coast jazz movement style. Then on Wednesday the series presents The Swingin' Swamis, bringing jazz and world rhythms to popular music from the 1930s through the '70s. Both concerts are free.
