St. John Episcopal Church, 140 N. Beaver St., will host a cookie walk, 6-7:30 p.m., followed by the Hershey Handbell Ensemble, 7:30 p.m. Friday. A reception will be held after the concert as well as another cookie walk, which will also be held from 10 a.m.-noon Saturday. York First Church of the Brethren, 2710 Kingston Road, will host "Make We Joy, Christmas Music From Around the Medieval World" by Nutmeg and Ginger, 3 p.m. Sunday. The musical ensemble is dedicated to the recreation of medieval/Renaissance music.

Learn to make natural ornaments, 1-3:30 p.m. Sunday at Nixon County Park. Stop by the Nature Center any time during the event to see samples of natural ornaments, then design and build your own. All supplies will be provided by the York County Department of Parks & Recreation. The workshop will be led by Kelly McBrien, a art teacher at Red Lion Area Senior High School.
