The Suffers, a 10-piece soul band from Houston, will perform as part of the Kable House Presents concert series, 8 p.m. Friday at Central Market in downtown York. Baritone Ben Davis, who received a Special Tony Award Honor for his work in Baz Luhrmann's Broadway production of "La Boheme," will appear in Totem Pole Playhouse's production of "Shenandoah." The musical tells the story of a strong-willed Virginia farmer trying to keep his family neutral as the Civil War rages around them. The show runs Friday through July 5. Tickets: $20-$50. The fur will fly at the Fur Fun Flyball event, Saturday and Sunday at the York Expo Center. The flyball dog teams are back, racing through jumps, catching balls and generally showing off their canine sports moves at the Coconut Classic, in Memorial Hall East. And also at the Expo Center, The Greater Lancaster Feline Fanciers will host an all-breed cat show, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Old Main Hall. The show features six rings of pedigreed cat judging and six rings of household pet judging as well as a people's choice award. Admission: $6, senior and kids under 12, $5. Sweetest Pint returns to downtown York Saturday with a beer and berry pairing. The tasting tour offers stops at Baron Von Schwein, York City Pretzel Co., Pepper's Grille at Central Market, Nuts About Granola, Roburrito's, YorKitchen featuring Sunday Dinner Bistro Catering and Tutoni's. Each stop will match a beer with a dish featuring berries. The tour begins at 2:30 p.m. at Cherry Lane Park. Tickets: $40 donation to Downtown Inc. The Springettsbury Sounds of Summer free concert series continues this week with free concerts Sunday and Wednesday at the Springettsbury Township Park. At 7 p.m. Sunday, The Jumpers Orchestra will deliver the American songbook in a mix of swing, jazz, big band and rock. Information: www.miracleconcertsusa.com. And at 7 p.m. Wednesday, The Navy Band Cruisers, the U.S. Navy's premier rock ensemble, will perform classic rock, R&B and Top 40. Information: www.navyband.navy.mil.

"Grease" is the word at DreamWrights Youth and Family Theatre this month. The classic musical takes the audience back to Rydell High School of 1959, with Danny, Sandy, Rizzo and the other familiar characters.
