Mason-Dixon Public Library, 250 Bailey Drive, Stewartstown, will open an exhibit of artwork by Sylvia and Preston Hutt with a reception, 6-8 p.m. Friday. Sylvia Hutt's artwork ranges from European landscapes to still-life. Musician and composer Preston Hutt has a love for woodcuts, wood engraving and etchings. The York Art Association presents its Wild and Wooly Art Show, 5-9 p.m. Friday at Marketview Arts, 37 W. Philadelphia St. The show depicts a variety of beasts, from cats to cranes to bears. Comedian Kathleen Madigan will bring her latest stand-up routine to the Strand Theatre, 50 N. George St., at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 6. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday for Chris Cornell's acoustic tour at the Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center on Saturday, Oct. 24. The tour will let fans see the award-winning rocker perform in an up close and personal setting and will include songs spanning his entire career as well as material from his new solo album, "Higher Truth," scheduled to be released Sept. 18. Tickets: $56-$81, $1 from each ticket goes to the Chris and Vicky Cornell Foundation, which helps protect children facing homelessness, poverty, abuse or neglect.
