The Annual Taste of Pennsylvania Wine and Music Festival will be held 1-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the York Expo Center. More than 250 Pennsylvania wines will be available to taste and buy, along with live music. For those more fond of beer, the event now offers Brew Kids on the Block, a tour of the state's 17 newest breweries. Free admission, free T-shirt for designated drivers. The Orendorf Elementary School PTO will host a car show, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at the school, 101 S. Hartman St., Manchester. Vehicle registration will be 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m., and prizes will be awarded at 3 p.m. Cost: $10 per vehicle. The fundraiser is to help raise money for new playground equipment.
The 48th annual Gettysburg Outdoor Antique Show runs 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday on the streets surrounding Lincoln Square in Gettysburg. The show has about 125 vendors with antique furniture, glassware, jewelry, dolls and other collectibles. The proceeds from the semi-annual show benefit the Gettysburg Area Retail Merchants Association.
Hanover's Black Rose Rollers will have a Super Magical Skate, 10 a.m.-noon Sunday at Magic Elm, 625 W. Elm Ave., Hanover. Princesses and superheroes will be there, and skaters can bring a T-shirt and create a cape or design a crown. Admission: $6 for skaters (rentals included), $3 non-skaters, 2 and under free. York-based band Susquehanna Travellers is planning a concert 2-5 p.m. Sunday to benefit Indian Steps Museum, near Airville in southern York County. The concert will be a CD release part for Susquehanna Travellers, a quartet playing traditional American folk music, with proceeds from the sale of CDs going to the museum. Dark Star Orchestra will be at the Pullo Center on the Penn State York campus, 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, to bring the Grateful Dead back for a live performance. For 17 years, the group has toured using historic Dead set lists and some of their own, matching equipment and stage layout to re-creating the Grateful Dead experience. Tickets: $32.
