A star football player who just graduated from York Catholic High School had his felony robbery charges withdrawn Wednesday, and the alleged victim in the case says the player, Jakkar Kinard, didn't rob or attack him.

Kinard, 18, of Wellington Street in York City, remains charged with one offense — simple assault, a second-degree misdemeanor.

After senior deputy prosecutor Jonathan Blake informed District Judge Scott Laird that he was withdrawing charges of robbery and conspiracy, Kinard waived his right to a preliminary hearing on the simple assault count.
