Ruth N. (Stough) Rohrbaugh, age 92, formerly of N. Codorus Township, passed away peacefully at Wellspan York Hospital in York on March 14, 2023. She was the loving wife of the late Elwood L. Rohrbaugh, who passed away in 2013. Ruth was born in N. Codorus Township on June 8, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Stewart Stough and Alverta (Seeger) Stough. She worked as an electronics assembler for Honeywell in York for many years prior to retiring. She was a longtime member of Wolf’s Covenant Church in York. She enjoyed all animals especially horses. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who cherished the time she spent with her family. She is survived by her children Nancy L. Kauffman, Donald E. Rohrbaugh and his wife Joyce and Debra J. Packard and her husband David; her grandchildren Bradley, Brian, Jody, Breanne and Joshua and her great grandchildren Anna, Peyton, James and Carrigan. She is also survived by her brother Marlyn Stough and his wife Elaine and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Miriam Shaffer. A funeral service in celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 11:00AM at Wolf’s Covenant Church, 4501 Wolf’s Church Rd., York PA with Rev. Eric Palmquist officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband following the service at St. Paul Wolf’s Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 10:00AM – 11:00AM at the church. Funeral services are under the direction of Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service Inc., of Spring Grove. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ruth’s memory may be made to Wolf’s Covenant Church.
