Jolene F. (Barshinger) Dellone, 80, passed away at WellSpan York Hospital on Saturday, January 21, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph M. Dellone, Sr. Mrs. Dellone was born in York on January 26, 1942 and was the daughter of the late Paul L. and Miriam F. (Graham) Barshinger. Jolene previously worked for a local credit union, Sylvania and eventually retired from Dallastown High School where she worked in the attendance office. She also worked part time for Kohrs during the York Fair. She was a longtime member of Bethany United Methodist Church of Red Lion, where she was active in the ladies Sunday school class. Jolene enjoyed taking walks, playing table and card games, and was a fan of the York Revolution. Mostly she enjoyed spending time with her family and dear friends and loved being Mamaw to her grandchildren. She is survived by her two children, Stephanie J. Dellone-Huckeby and her husband William, of FL and Joseph M. Dellone, Jr. and his wife Krista, of Dallastown; granddaughters, Samantha J. Bryan and her husband Grisham, Alexandria J. Dellone and Cassandra J. Dellone. She is also survived by her step-granddaughter, Megan Confer; step grandson, Kyle Confer and step great-grandson, Wilson Confer, sister-in-law, Jane “Suzie” Rinehart, as well as her grandcats, Prince Charlie and Princess Fluffy. A viewing will take place on Thursday, January 26 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, 104 W. Main St., Dallastown and then again at the funeral home on Friday, January 27 from 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM, with a funeral service beginning at 10:30 AM, with Pastor Larry Parlett officiating. Interment will follow in Dallastown Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association or to the Bethany United Methodist Sunday School class.
