Paul M. Boyer, age 70, of Goldsboro, died at 11:02 AM Thursday, January 19, 2023, at UPMC Harrisburg. He was the companion of the late Amelia Satcher, and former spouse of Anita Marinelli, of Cly. Born March 24, 1952, in Mechanicsburg, he was a son of the late Joseph H. Boyer, Jr. and the late Gertrude M. (LeVern) Boyer. He was a 1970 graduate of Red Land High School and was retired from Harley-Davidson Motor Company after 38 years of employment. He was a member of The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Local 175 (District 98), Susquehanna Rod and Gun Club, Goldsboro Fireman's Club, Guy E. Shelley American Legion Post 974, and The Wago Club. He loved hunting, outdoors, wildlife and family. He enjoyed going to the cabin in Lycoming County to hunt and vacation with family. He was a quiet and reserved simple man, and was a true tinkerer, who liked to know how things worked and how to fix things. Mr. Boyer is survived by a daughter, Teresa Waller, and her husband Todd, of Goldsboro; a son, Paul M. Boyer, Jr., and his wife Gretchen, of York Haven; six grandchildren, Crysta and Rebecca Waller, Alvadee, Egon, Crosby and Myles Boyer; a brother, Melvin Boyer, of York; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; and Amelia’s children Debra Hobbs, Louis Robertson, Sandra Smith, Tory Doherty, and Tom Doherty. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Joseph H. Boyer, III; and a sister, Grace Sandnes. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, February 4, 2023, at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester, with Pastor Jim Smith officiating. Visitation will be 9-10:00 AM. Burial will be private.
