Neal A. Graumenz

RED LION - Neal Arthur Graumenz, 75, of Windsor Township, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Sharon Delores (Poff) Graumenz. The couple celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary on July 18, 2021.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on January 22, 2022 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion, with a visitation from 1-2 p.m. Full military honors will be provided by York County Veteran's Honor Guard. Certified Celebrant Betty Frey will be officiating at the service. Burial will be private in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York.

Mr. Graumenz was born in Syracuse, NY on July 22, 1946, the son of the late Earl F. and Esther A. (Hudson) Graumenz. He retired in 2012, from American Chain and Cable in York, where he worked for 44 years and was a purchasing manager.

Mr. Graumenz was a member of Red Lion American Legion, Red Lion Elks Club, and Red Lion VFW. He attended Penn State University. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War, where he was stationed in Germany.

Along with his wife, Sharon, he leaves a brother, Barry Graumenz of Bernhards Bay, NY; a sister, Darlene Kempert and her husband Gerhard of Acra, NY; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Jean Graumenz.
