York County hopefully can take a few days' break from thunderstorms this weekend.
Saturday should end up partly sunny, with a high near 74, according to the National Weather Service. It could be breezy, though -- the wind will blow at 15 mph, and gusts may reach 21 mph. The wind will die down by nighttime, though, while temperatures will dip down to a low of around 52.
A sunny Sunday will hit highs around 79 and lows around 59, the NWS says.
Thew start of the work week heats up and brings chances for more storms. The NWS predicts Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will all have highs in the mid 80s, and though Monday should stay mostly sunny, there is a chance of thunderstorms Tuesday and Wednesday.
