The York College softball team dropped both games of a doubleheader to visiting Susquehanna University on a frigid Wednesday afternoon in York.

The Spartans fell 2-1 in eight innings in the opener, before losing 13-6 in the second game.

York dropped to 4-12 overall, while Susquehanna improved to 10-2.

Sarah Harris led York's offense on the day, going 2-for-7, with three runs scored and two RBIs. Jena Ruby went 3-for-6 and added one RBI. Jessica Canami scored one run and was 2-for-5.

Freshman pitcher Morgan Levine suffered both losses in the circle for York. In the first game, Levine pitched all eight innings, allowing two runs on six hits, with one walk and three strikeouts. During the second game, Levine pitched 31/3 innings, giving up six runs on five hits, with three walks and two strikeouts.
