The York College golf team finished sixth on Thursday afternoon at the Elizabethtown Blue Jay Spring Classic at the Hershey Country Club East Course.

The Spartans finished with a 334 total, which was 12 shots behind first-place Stevenson. A total of 18 teams competed.

Kevin Long was the top scorer for York, shooting a 9-over-par 80, which was good for a tie for ninth. The tournament medalist was Stevenson's Ben Lukehart, who had a 1-over-par 72.

Travis Oot shot 82 for York to finish tied for 19th. David Boslough (85, tied for 33rd) and Adam Burkhart (87, tied for 49th) were York's other scorers.
