White Rose Thunder's second annual motorcycle show will bring even more rock 'n' roll to the York Expo Center this year.
Organizers have announced they will bring rock band Pop Evil to this year's event.
The band will perform at 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, after opening acts Robbing Noll and Bullet Method take the stage at 6 and 7 p.m., respectively.
Pop Evil's hits include "Hero," "100 in a 55" and "Trenches," which, earlier this year, was the band's first national No. 1 single on the rock radio charts.
"We believe they're going to do a really great show and cap off a lot of fun on that Thursday night," said event organizer Jeff Rehmeyer, who said he first heard of the band in 2010/
Pop Evil plays "solid rock music;" a combination of upbeat and slower songs that is perfect for a diverse, high-energy crowd.
Admission for the day is $10 and includes all the day's activities.
Music and motorcycles: In addition to Thursday's lineup, there will also be concerts on Friday and Saturday.
On Friday, local band The Revelators will perform at 2 p.m., and The Mustang Sally Band, an all-female, country and rhythm & blues band from Nashville, will take the stage at 8 p.m.
On Saturday, the day's festivities will close out at 8 p.m. with Grand Funk Railroad, the blues-rock band that was popular in the 1970s, and a fireworks display.
Other entertainment includes flat track motorcycle racing on Saturday and Sunday, as well as stunt shows, bike shows, a swap meet, vendors and more.
Last year's inaugural event brought 12,000 visitors over four days, and Rehmeyer expects more people to come this year.
"Last year was good, and we expect this year to be even better," he said.
