The York Weekend Best of March 2013 entertainment calendar highlights fun events throughout the month.

Garden time

The PA Garden Show of York features a "Nature's Symphony" theme this year along with numerous displays, a flower show, seminars, special events, a children's area and more. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday in the Toyota Arena at the York Expo Center. Wine tasting

The eighth annual Tour de Tanks event invites participants to 26 area wineries for free sampling of vintages in the barrels every Saturday and Sunday from March 2 to March 30.

Laugh riot

Three New York comedians - Jason Cohen, Adam Lucidi and Rachel Robbins - will perform at Laugh Your Tuchas Off, a fundraiser for the York Jewish Community Center, 2000 Hollywood Drive, York Township, at 7 p.m. Saturday. UPDATE: Organizers report Jason Cohen has been sidelined by the flu, but comedian Andrew Heaton is stepping up to deliver the laughs in his place.

Sweet concert

The female a cappella ensemble Sweet Honey in the Rock will give a concert crossing nearly a dozen musical traditions at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center, 50 N. George St., York. Tickets: $32-$42. Information: (717) 846-1111 or www.strandcapitol.org.

Angelic voices

The Vienna Boys Choir will give a concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Pullo Family Performing Arts Center, 1031 Edgecomb Ave. on the Penn State York campus. Tickets: $50-$65. All tickets for the March 6 show will be honored for the rescheduled performance at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 12.

Classical charm

The York Symphony Orchestra showcases local talents on flute and piano in its third classical concert of the season at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at the Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center, 50 N. Dog days

The annual Celtic Classic Dog Show features canines competing in conformation, obedience and rally events March 13-18 at the York Expo Center. Musical spell

Celebrate the loving message of the Gospel put to song in "Godspell" at York Little Theatre, 27 S. Belmont St., Spring Garden Township. The musical production runs March 15-24. Parade

The 30th annual York St. Patrick's Day Parade steps off at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 16, and marches east on Market Street from Penn Street to Duke Street. 'Bad to the Bone'

Rocking out

The adults-only Kids Rock fundraiser takes on the 1980s in a "Rock Band" video game battle from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, March 23, at the Valencia Ballroom, 142 N. George St., York. The night features more music, silent and live auctions and hors d'oeuvres. Funds benefit the Children's Home of York. Tickets: $55. An introduction

Animals help children learn classical music during the Saturday Morning Symphony at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 23, at the Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center, 50 N. George St., York. The program blends the talents of the York Symphony Orchestra, Midstate Ballet and DreamWrights Youth and Family Theatre for "Peter and the Wolf" and other pieces. Tickets: $8. Coloring eggs
