Contemporary artist Jeff Koons, the 2012 recipient of the York City Mayor's Award for the Visual Arts, is adding a touch of class to Sin City.

His sculpture "Tulips," purchased at auction in November for more than $33.6 million, is on display at the Wynn Las Vegas hotel and casino resort. The sculpture is expected to move to a new Wynn hotel and casino in Macau when it opens in 2016, the New York Times reported.

Koons also received the Pennsylvania Distinguished Arts Award during a ceremony in York in 2010. A York native and former Dover resident, he now resides in New York City.
