The first of three Marshmallow Hikes at Rocky Ridge County Park, 3699 Deininger Road in Springettsbury Township, lasts from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27. The annual Christmas Magic: A Festival of Lights is open through Dec. 31 at Rocky Ridge County Park, 3699 Deininger Road in Springettsbury Township.

The annual Glen Rock Hose & Ladder Co. model train display is open from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21; 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 23; and 9 p.m. to midnight Christmas Eve (Dec. 24) at the Arthur Hufnagel Public Library, 32 Main St., Glen Rock. Two teams that are expected to contend for the York-Adams League Division I boys' basketball title will collide on Friday night when York High plays host to South Western. The varsity game is expected to start around 7:30 p.m. Dec. 21.

Two traditional York-Adams League Division I wrestling powers will face off on Saturday night when Dallastown invades Spring Grove. The varsity match should start around 7 p.m. Dec. 22.
