The second annual Yorktoberfest wine and beer festival runs from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, and Sunday, Oct. 28, at Sovereign Bank Stadium in downtown York. The fourth annual Rural Radio Fall Music Fest features a dozen performers from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at Naylor Winery, 4069 Vineyard Road near Stewartstown. Two York-Adams League Division II football leaders will collide on Friday night when Northeastern plays host to West York. Both teams are 3-0 in division action. That is just one of 11 games featuring York-Adams League teams on Friday.
Susquehanna Speedway Park will play host to the “Candy Bowl” on Saturday. Six classes of racing will be featured — the ARDC Midgets, Legends racers, sportsman modifieds, thundercars, minivans and a combination race featuring the 600cc and sidewinder micro sprints. Action starts at 2 p.m.
