Trinity United Church of Christ, 32 W. Market St., York, will be celebrating its 270th anniversary on Saturday and Sunday.

At 7 p.m. on Saturday, saxophonist Tim Warfield Jr. and friends hold a concert in the church sanctuary. No tickets are required. A free-will offering will be taken. A reception will be held following the concert in the church parlor.

The weekly worship service at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday will commemorate the 270th anniversary with communion, special music and guest speaker. Former senior pastor the Rev. Benjamin Griffin will deliver the morning sermon. Trinity UCC Pastor Ruth D. Harvey will be joined by the Rev. Richard Barley, former visitation pastor in leading the service. Special music will be provided by minister of music Jerrod E. Coates, organist, and guest soprano soloist, Rachel E. Mitts.
